Michael J. Fitzpatrick graduated from Papillion-LaVista High School in 1989, and then attended Peru State College on a baseball scholarship.   He graduated from Peru State in 1993 with a Bachelor of History degree, and then went to work as a Police Officer for the York, Nebraska Police Department for nearly 3 years before applying to Law School at Creighton University in Omaha.   After graduating from Creighton Law in 2000, Mike became an Assistant Woodbury County Attorney in Sioux City, Iowa.  

 

     Since that time, Mike’s career has brought him to the State of Iowa’s Public Defender’s Office, the Douglas County Public Defender’s Office in Omaha, and the Omaha City Prosecutor’s Office.   Mike currently is in private practice in Omaha, practicing primarily criminal law, including D.U.I, as well as divorce, personal injury and general litigation.   His Office is located at 319 South 17th Street, Suite 232, Omaha, NE, 68102.   His Office number is 402.346.9140. 

 

     He is married to the former Melinda Raymond and has two stepchildren who are also musicians.
